Meet Our Team

Beverly Smith, Founder

Beverly Smith is the founder of The King’s Table Schoolhouse and is serving as President and Executive Director for the organization. She is the mother of 5; 4 daughters and 1 son with intellectual disabilities.

Her passion for learning led her to get a degree in elementary education, homeschool for more than 17 years, and pursue her dream of starting a school. Some of her favorite things to do are reading, gardening, paddle boarding, ballroom dancing, and spending time with family and friends. Beverly feels most alive when she is learning something new or teaching.

Jenn Rhone, teacher

Jenn Rhone serves as the Special Education Teacher at The King’s Table Schoolhouse, bringing over 25 years of experience in teaching various ages and disabilities within the public school system. Married to Mike for 26 years, they have answered God’s call to adopt children with special needs, expanding their family to include seven adopted children ages 8-18 in addition to their four grown biological children.

Devoted to her faith, Jenn finds joy in combining her passion for teaching with her love for the Lord and children with special needs. Alongside her husband, she serves as buddies for children with special needs in their local church’s children ministry. Jenn’s interests extend beyond the classroom; she enjoys gardening, kayaking, fishing and camping with her family. She is also actively involved in mission trips and is excited to minister the love of Jesus and nurture the faith of the children at The King’s Table Schoolhouse.
